Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy with Ketamine (KAP)
You may be looking for more intensive short team psychotherapy to help you with chronic and deep unresolved issues. I offer a neuroscience-informed approach to deep emotional healing
using psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy exclusively with ketamine (also known as KAP- ketamine assisted psychotherapy ) the only legal psychedelic medicine available for therapeutic use in Washington State. This work is ideal for you because it may resolve treatment-resistant depression, severe anxiety, OCD, trauma, or chronic shame—especially when traditional talk therapy or medications haven’t been enough.

This is not a quick fix. It’s for people ready to invest in regular treatment for serious mental health concerns, supported by an experienced therapist and a trusted medical team.

Who is a good fit? Why Ketamine can help? Who provides the ketamine and medical care? You may be a good candidate if you:
-Feel stuck despite prior therapy or medication.
- Are living with depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, or chronic shame. -Have support systems in place (friends, family, community). - Are willing to commit time, resources, and emotional energy to your healing process.
-Are open to deep therapeutic work before, during, and after medicine sessions
This work is not recommended if you have an active substance addiction, unmanaged bipolar disorder, seizure disorders, psychosis, or no current support network. All clients are medically screened through my partner, Journey Clinical, before beginning treatment.
Why Ketamine Can Help
Ketamine works by blocking the brain’s NMDA receptors while stimulating AMPA receptors, improving brain flexibility. This opens a powerful neuroplasticity window—a period when your brain is more capable of forming new, healthier patterns. Many clients experience antidepressant and mood-enhancing effects within
1–2 hours after dosing. Research shows that 87% of Journey Clinical patients see improvements after just two clinical visits, with benefits often deepening through ongoing treatment and integration work.
The KAP Process
1. Medical Consultation & Eligibility You’ll meet with a licensed Journey Clinical medical provider to review your health history, current medications, and treatment goals.
2. Personalized Treatment Plan If you’re a good candidate for KAP, your prescriber will create a tailored plan for your needs and arrange for your prescription to be delivered.
3. Preparation Sessions We’ll meet for 1–2 sessions before your dosing day to clarify your intentions, address questions, and help you feel grounded and ready.
4. Medicine Session Your ketamine dosing session will take place in a calm, supportive environment. I’ll be there to guide you, ensure your safety, and help you navigate whatever arises during the experience. Clients cannot drive themselves home after treatment and must arrange transportation.
5. Integration Sessions Within 24–72 hours after dosing, we’ll meet again to process your insights, connect them to your life, and identify ways to carry your healing forward.
6. Recommended Treatment Frequency For effective treatment of treatment-resistant depression, severe anxiety, OCD, and trauma, a series of six sessions, spaced no more than 72 hours apart, is recommended. This schedule maximizes ketamine’s neuroplasticity window for lasting results.
7. Ongoing Support Your care doesn’t stop after one series.
We’ll work together—and in collaboration with your Journey Clinical medical team—to ensure your continued growth and safety. My Role as Your Therapist I provide a safe, confidential, and attuned space throughout the process—helping you prepare, guiding you through the medicine experience, and supporting you afterward to translate insights into lasting change. My background in Complex Integration of Multiple Brain Systems (CIMBS) allows me to work directly with your brain’s healing capacity, untangling old patterns of fear, shame, and grief while strengthening connection, safety, and self-compassion.
