Karin Brackebusch, MA, LMHC, is passionate about bringing hope and healing to all, and her passion is inspiring. Shas studied brain science and neuroplasticity over the last decade, and has found it to be powerful in bringing deep, lasting change to many. Karin combines her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Mars Hill Graduate School (2010), with her years of attachment focused therapy to inform her work. Karin has worked with individuals with Anxiety, Trauma,  Depression and AD/HD.  

Karin has been training in the CIMBS (Complex Integration of Multiple Brain Systems) approach since 2011. This approach is developed by Beatriz Sheldon, Med Psych, and Albert Sheldon, M.D. Karin is also trained in Lifespan Integration, Relational therapy and Attachment Related therapies. Karin has a keen ability to connect with others in a safe and caring way that empowers them to develop and strengthen brain systems and experience true and lasting change.  Before becoming a full time therapist, Karin was a full time foster parent to refugee children, bringing safety and healing to children of trauma.
